G-10 Police blade rubbinbg against handle scales, please help

I just picked up a used Police from a forumite, and the blade rubs the handle ever so slightly when its closed. I know this isn't normal and was wondering how much it would cost to get fixed or if there is anything I can do to fix it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Roadrunner - If it is a hollow ground version, there is almost zero clearance where the unground portion of the blade drops into the handle. If that is the case, minor filing on the inside of the scale might do the trick. Be sure the pivot pin is tight enough to avoid lateral play.

If it is the flat ground version, you may have to get it back to us (unless the pivot is loose).

Thanks Sal, I noticed that there was hardly any clearance where the blade comes in. I'll try filing it a little, that should do the trick, I just wanted to ask before messing with it. Thanks for the speedy service as usual!
