I have a stainless handle with a plain edge, but I have only seen G10 models "in person" serrated. Of course, I have only seen about 4 of these knives total, so that isn't saying much. I bought one of the serrated g10 models "just because," but I really want one with a plain edge.

I saw one website with a picture of it, but it was listed as sold out.

Should I keep looking, or is this one of those combinations that was uncommon even when they model was still made?

Plain edge in G-10 were not uncommom. This model has been discontinued for a few years and the plainedge  tend to disappear before the serrated or combo edged models. It is a knife worth serching for (I have 2 of them).

Had a PE Rookie- Now only have a SE Rookie- Wish I'd hung onto it- fine little knife.

The last bunch I knew of was sold at Smoky Mountain Knife Works about 2-3 years ago. They were a great bargain. It is still my EDC at home and on the weekends.

What would be a fair price for one?

I found a serrated model at a show for $50. In new condition I could see it going for $75 due to the availability issue if someone is collecting it, but I don't usually buy anything I wouldn't want to carry and use, so there are probably people out there willing to pay more than I would guess.
