G 10 scales

Amici,
Does anyone know if it's possible to send in to EKI a standard CQC-7 with black G10 scales, & have them replaced with scales of another color? If so, what other color's are available?

IF EKI would do that, the CQC-7 comes in desert tan and jungle green. I'm not sure if that's a possibility but it's a question I was thinking about myself. I just traded into a Mini Desert Roadhouse and really prefer black. I'm sure EmersonREP will be able to answer this question.

I must say the OD scales on my new Tiger are amazing, like the one's on the Jungle Commander I sold.

Too bad rit dye don't work on black. If you get custom natural g10 you can dye multiple times from light to dark. Remember Roy G. Biv.

Sorry but we would only replace the standard black scales. We don't sell colored scales separately. You could contact a pimper and have them make you any color you want.

Do you know if that also covers vintage models? I have a 2000 Commander I want to get new scales for, as the current ones are way too smooth for my taste.

Ttran, its your knife and you can do what you want, but I'd HIGHLY suggest leaving that model as is. People search high and low for Commanders 2000 and older and the smoother scales, along with a few other features, are highly desired by collectors. In some circles that would be considered sacrilege
