Just wondering if such an animal has ever existed? I'm thinking it would make a terrific knife overall, similar to the G-10 Endura/Delica that came out briefly.
What are your thoughts on this?

Has yet to be done. Personally, I love the CF version and the FRN version, I do wish that the FRN version will come out in some new colors down the line. I'm not the biggest fan of G-10, it's nice, but it's not my favorite. However, if it was made, I would most definitely get one to try it out.

What initially prompted my question and searching the Spydiwiki was when I was looking at my Caly 3 and Endura G-10 deciding on my daily carry knives for the weekend. With the soon to be released Native and Para 2, it seems like a natural step for the Stretch. The history of the knife (from what I have read about it overall) seems to be quite different than most other Spyderco knives. That knife is truly a part of Sal.

I have the ZDP so far. I lost an auction for a CF Stretch at the last minute it was sniped away.

Personally, I'd like to see a colored G-10 Stretch. Maybe using that 2 colored G-10 Blue/Black or Red/Black.

While I think "Spyderco style" G-10 (peel ply slabs) is perhaps the least attractive material ever slapped on a knife, I'd love to see a G-10/VG-10 Stretch II, assuming it used the same full liners as the CF/ZDP-189 version. It would bring down the cost of rescaling projects. :D

Don't think the two tone G-10 would look any better, unless they ditched the slabs and contoured and polished the handle. Used flat, you'd only see the colors along the perimeter.

When the CF Stretch first released I mentioned that I would like to see a G10 version, it was however shot down…by you.

I cant remember what you said but it made sense. :p

I'd love a G10 version, but micarta would be better. White FRN would be pretty awesome too.

While you're about it, deepen the choil and give it a lefty comp lock :)

You know, I bought a SE Stretch 2 last year in September I think it was. I carried it for a week and I just was not that into it. The only thing that really broke the deal for me was the choil. I ended up trading the knife for a SE Foliage Green Endura after spying Tonydahose's Endura drawer. haha
Fast forward to late January this year, I bought a Gayle Bradley and noticed that the blade shapes were similar. I ended up getting the ZDP Stretch 2 on Ebay for a great price. I've carried that knife every day since I got it (3 months ago). Something about it makes that knife an awesome cutting tool like no other.
