G-10/Ti frame lock CQC-15 ?

If I had to choose only one Emerson folder I'd take the CQC-15 because I think it has the best of all worlds: an esthetic & useful mix of clip point/tanto point with a recurved belly plus Wave, V grind blade... Looks great to me. & then I thought: what about adding G-10/Titanium combo handles, frame lock like the CQC-12 has? It would be a superb knife.
Did anybody try to swap blades in any Emerson models? I have done it with Kershaw's & they work great & look custom made (to me :D). I saw pictures of modified Spyderco's in the forums too.
 
IIRC ya can swap some of the blades around ok but ya cant go from liner lock to frame lock or vice versa.

i dont think, anyway.
 
Two entirely different knives, which equates to entirely different spacing and placement of the stop pin, the width and height of the folder, the detent ball placement and the lock cut out points to create it. In short its a nice fantasy but it won't work.
