Whelp, I got my first GB in tonight. All I can say is WOW. This thing leaves you wanting for nothing. I like the really high hollow grind on it. That thing is gonna slice like hell. The materials are just unreal. They really are some extrordiarily fine knives.

I do have a couple of questions. What do you do, of there is ever a warranty? I mean the factory is over seas.

How durable is the liner lock, and what kind of life is reasonable to expect on these? I would guess pretty tough, by the thickness.

How long have they been out? I really like these, I just would like to know more. Thanks, Josh

The Gayle Bradley is in my opinion one of the finest Spydercos (my first choice always is the Southard). It's a tough, long-lasting, incredible edge-retention cutting machine that's also beautiful to carry with its smooth CF/G10 scales. It's over-built for sure. Regarding the service, it has been known that it takes longer for these overseas made knives. Normal service turnaround these days at Spyderco is quoted at 3-4 weeks.

Check out this fine thread: Gayle Bradley Hard Use

the GB is a beast. i once test mine to "chop" some hardwood and the thin grinds helds up nicely. it also open smoothly. have to agree with Ramzar, it is one of the beautiful folder that's meant for hard work.

I had mine more than a year now, and it is still beautiful.

The GB is a true users knife. I've had mine for a little over a year and the lock engagement is still where it was when I got it. As you can see by yours it is decently thick and it is stainless, So it will suffer less wear than titanium.

As for warranty, If it is fine now it should stay that way unless you do something foolish with it. Just keep in mind CPM-M4 is NOT stainless. Keep it oiled with a good rust inhibitor like Eezox or FrogLube. M4 has become one of my favorite steels. The stuff keeps an edge forever. (well a REALLY long time lol)
