Which do you prefer and why? Ready... Fight! :D

(Context: looking to add a kydex sheath to open up my Guardian 3 carrying options a little)

I've used both. I think I prefer the tek-lock. I like that it has inserts so you can tailor it to the width of your belt to make a more secure fit so that the sheath isn't sliding around on your belt.

G-clip if you don't wear belts (me) or want waistband carry. It's great, I could even use it with a small fixed blade in a front pocket. It does slide around on belts though, whereas the teklok is nice and secure.

I use the AB-3 belt-clip unless I need more secure carry, Tek-lok is easier for me to get on and off but is a bit big so the G-clip comes in handy.

By the way, if you are looking to expand you carry options, I'd recommend this

I've got a few tek-loks that live in a drawer...and a few g-clips (and similar) attached to sheaths.
I'll let you guess which I prefer.

*in the interest of full disclosure, I just remembered that I have a tek-lok attached to a sheath as well...couldn't even tell you what knife wears it because I so rarely carry it. When I figure it out, I'll let you know whether that is due to the knife or the attachment device.

G-clip if you don't wear belts (me) or want waistband carry. It's great, I could even use it with a small fixed blade in a front pocket. It does slide around on belts though, whereas the teklok is nice and secure.

I have both but tend to prefer the G-clip for the same reasons stated above.
