And do you like them? do they really glow in the dark? and how well do they do this? is the Nifebrite durable like the Delrin? or is it made from some kind of N.A.S.A. approved Delrin?

Its very durable. It seems quite resistant to breaking as I've dropped one. It also doesn't glow near as long as I'd prefer but its a neat novelty for a few minutes anyway.

Thank you for your response STR. so I guess it does glow but not long? a few minutes maybe?

I've had a nifebrite and it was cool! lol

Seriously I got it because I'm a kid a heart and it appealed to me. It held up great though.

I have a 15 single clip in nifebrite. It's very durable probably more that delrin. Glow only lasts a few minutes even fully charged under a lamp. So not too many useful applications for it. It would be cool if there was a glow in the dark material that only glowed when you want it to but most of the time it will have used up its glow in your pocket. Still a cool material and knife.

positive reviews in terms of material but the glow doesn't last long. I like the idea of glowing handles sounds like they should glow longer fully charged. No matter, a little glow is better than none I guess.

I have the #71 Bullnose, #99 Farmer Lock and #15 Scout in Nifebrite. I like the way they look even when they aren't glowing and they seem to be as durable as Delrin or at least close. Besides the GITD kid at heart factor I have found them to be very practical. Sure they aren't going to glow if they are kept in your pocket and only the exposed end will if kept in a belt sheath, but all you have to do to charge the up is to hit them for a few seconds with a flashlight, light bulb or the high beam of your truck and you can easily locate your knife on the ground in the dark.

This thread needs pictures:

Sure, it doesn't glow as long as I'd like, but it also doesn't need much light exposure to charge, either. And it's pretty cool in the daylight, too.

I have a crown lifter in nifebrite. Its great! I haven't dropped it yet but it makes me feel good from previous posts that it holds up well. And yeah It only glows for a few minutes. But I still pull it out and "charge" it so the little kid in me can see it glow.
