I think I prefer the blade blade, if only to avoid the bead-blast finish rust issues.

They 'say' it is not white - it is aluminum colored. As per the videos I have watched and listened to...

The issue is that the lighter color comes with that awful painted look black blade on there... that sure isn't a dlc coating...

the AUS 8 on my G&G Hawk D.O.G. CRKT knife is rust prone - have to say - for $80 I was hoping for a little better steel - but I will keep an open mind!
 
I like it. Basic look & materials, but I love Grant & Gavin Hawk's interesting designs.
