I just seen this and felt like I had to share it. 2 of my my favorite Kershaw/ZT collab designers and a shop tour they did with BHQ.
For those of you who don't know, Grant and Gavin designed the Kershaw E.T. External Toggle 1900, R.A.M. 1910, Selectfire 1920, ZT 0500 MUDD, and ZT 0650ST.

I love how down to earth they are and how they use old machinery and retrofit it to make those awesome pieces! Pretty neat story how Grant lived in a teepee for a number of years and drives the Dodge power wagon WC-53 and especially the M- 38 Jeep!

A must see for all members of the order of KAI or knife enthusiasts in general! Ben at BHQ really did an excellent job on this one. Thank you Juju for brining it to the forums.

I really liked this video, I immediately started searching for G&G Designs to buy after I finished this video.

Great video! Thanks for posting it here or I may not have ever seen it. Really good info and a look into some makers that are literally down to earth and innovators.

Thanks for sharing this video. I had only peripherally known about these guys until recently, and I just sniped a RAM on Ebay for $39. The seller described it as "New out of the box", we'll see what that means. Anyway, I really enjoyed their approach of "We make stuff, why should we pay a lot of money for tools. We'll just make our own." Their designs are also very innovative and interesting

Wow, those guys are geniuses. Or at least very, VERY determined.
I really wish I had run across ZT when the MUDD was still available. :(

Side by side pictures of my brand new Kershaw Ram & used ZT 0500 both by KAI and G&G Hawk. Hope we see them come back!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Wish I'd been around when the 0500 was available... At least I can remain happy with the fact that ZT is still making awesome knives that I can get!

That's an awesome pic of the Mudd knife! You mind if I post it on my FB page?

Also thanks for posting the video :)

Gavin
