This is called the Samurai Bowie and also comes with a wood handle. It does look a lot like the CS Trailmaster. Maybe this is who makes the Trailmaster for CS, since they don't make any of their own knives.

I don't know TM. but this knife seem longer than TM.

G¡¤SAKAI HSEK(high speed edge knife)

Spec.
OL : 378§®
blade length : 241§®
blade thickness : 6§®
blade width : 37§®
blade material : 440C
edge length : 225§®

guard length/width/thickness : 61/23/5§®
weight(sheath+knife / knife) : 540 / 420g
handle length : 130§®
handle material : plastic
landyard hole diameter : 7§®

sheath material : black leather
sheath length : 335§®

The dimensions that I have seen for the G-Sakai Bowie are:

Overall length 370mm (14 1/2")
Blade length 235mm (9 1/4")
Thickness 6mm (1/4")

CS Trailmaster:

Overall length (14 1/2")
Blade length (9 1/2")
Thickness (5/16")

These dimensions are really close. The fact is that they may well be identical depending on how the two knives were measured. The blade length of the G-Sakai could have been measured just to the choil and that would make the actual length 9 1/2". The Trailmaster's blade thickness may have been the starting thickness of the blade stock. After being ground it would probably be closer to 1/4".

Whatever the case may be, this is a good looking bowie.

Isn't this about the same(if not the same)knife that was sold as the Teton Bowie a while back?

I have one of these marked:

"Rigid" on one side
"RG-69
"U2X" STEEL
SEKI-Japan" on the other.

Handle is Kraton.
A little thinner blade than the Trailmaster.
Lighter than the Trailmaster.
Convex ground.
"Marble's thin" tip and edge.
The blade is closer to the Trailmaker than the Trailmaster.
