G-Shock alarm help

I can't figure out how to turn the alarm on my gw500a. I have read the manual several times and followed the instructions to turn the alarm off, but the "alarm on" indicator on the home screen is still on and it still goes off. Is there something I'm missing? thanks in advance for any help y'all can give me, I hope I don't have to deal with the alarm for much longer . Thanks!

it should go off once you scrolled through all of them and cancel each one.
on my g-shock watch the selected alarm turns off/on when i press the adjust button..

Thanks, I'll try that.
ETA- Turns out that alarm 4 got switched on by accident and I was just looking at alarm 1. Now it's turned off and I'm wondering how I could have overlooked that. Thanks, jacktrades.
