Just got the G9000 Mudman, initial impressions are good! No hard use yet, I had the GDF100 and loved it, so I wanted to try out the Mudman. Both watches have their place as they are different enough.
The G9000 has been out for years, but it just had the look that I was going for. When it arrived, I thought it was the wrong watch. Photos made it look so big, but it's smaller than the GDF100. Yes, buttons are hard to push, I don't care I'm young enough.
Overall, the date, time, and day of week are easy to see, but smaller than the GDF100. The Mudman G9000 doesn't have the sensors, which is why I wanted it, a little simpler for when I'm not camping, hiking, fishing, or hunting. It feels good on the wrist, and I have no issues with the band.
