So a G10 Meadowlark 2 came in the mail today. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with this knife. The G10 is pretty nice. I already had one of the new FRN version so the new FFG blade was no surprise.
My only beef is that since I'm left handed I had to swap the clip and it seemed like the torx screws were starting to smooth out. The torx bit I use is a good one and it's changed over many Delica and Endura clips and a another Byrd and didn't have this issue. But the clip is swapped and seems tight and secure now so all is well.

Oddly enough it doesn't seem as handle heavy and oddly balanced as my G10 Delica 4 does.

It's a good knife. Especially for the price.

One day and the G10 Meadowlark 2 becomes a Christmas present.
Noticed the clip was a little loose so I thought I'd loc tite them. Upon replacing the screws I noticed I couldn't get one tight. It seems to not bite into the liner and just spins in the G10. I'm a lefty and like tip up carry so I thought I'd try putting them in the right side and they all tightened up just fine. Not sure why. The screw itself doesn't seem to be stripped.
So since it's good for right handed carry but not left handed carry I guess I'll gift it.

I like the knife and the feel of it. Too bad it won't tighten up on the left hand side of the handle.

Paradiggum,

I know that this is a few weeks old, but I have a first gen Meadowlark g-10, and noticed for left handed carry, one screw does not thread into the liner as well. I was upset with this, especially since the rest of the screws somehow came loose, and the entire clip came off. While it was in my room, it was ok. But I would have been upset if this happened when I was out, and a screw got lost.

Back on subject, I am tempted to order a meadowlark 2 as well, since my original has last me a year perfectly, although the handle got damaged and blade chipped by abuse.
