G10 C51?

I picked up a plain edge Rookie today which has the steel liner on the clip side. I also looked at the serrated ones but noticed that these only have the G10 with no steel liner...??

Just curious, are they all like these? I would have got both but I like my clip screws to thread into some steel other than G10 alone.

The Spyder hole on mine is a little rough on the thumb so I think I'll have to break out the Dremel and smooth out the sharp edge

Keith, my serrated G-10 Rookie (which I got just last month) DOES have the steel liner on the clip side.
 
Sal G. has answered a similar question earlier. I obtained a G10 Standard and it had no liner. Sal said it was simply one of the early production ones.

Knave, I see your from Lex.Ky, I went to High school(Lafayette) and UK when I lived there. My parents still live there (out by the castle).
