I just received an Immortal from the Christmas sale. It's a wild knife for sure! I channeled my early '80s self for that purchase:D. The fit and finish is great, but the checkering on the G10 slabs is a bit too sharp. I believe they will abraid my pockets. Can I just gently sand the tops with a high grit sand paper? I'm sure this topic has come up before. Thanks!

a scotchbrite pad works well
just go lightly until you get it where you want it

If the color whitens out a bit from sanding, a quick spray and rubdown with WD40 brings the original color right back.

If you’re only worried about it tearing up your pockets, you could always mix up some JB weld and fill in the texture right under where the clip makes contact.

Whatever you do, DO NOT breath in that G10 dust! The stuff is toxic. Like little barb hooks that will not leave your lungs. Either sand under running water or use a respirator. Good luck!
