G10 colors? What g10 color was used on the joker exclusive green lil native?

IMG_8716.jpegIt’s dark green for sure. Looks similar to the Spyderco worker sprint run but maybe darker than that. Bad lighting

Well, Knife Joker lists it as "Dark Green".

SPYDERCO C230GPDGRBK LIL’ NATIVE DARK GREEN G-10 2.42″ FULL-FLAT DLC CPM-CRUWEAR PLAIN EDGE

It looks like Forest Green. I think Current Composite has that color? AKS has it in stock. It may also be a od green, but that is a bit lighter in color.

agree it looks like forest green. I used some as a liner on some tiger maple that looked good. Definitely not OD green.

Currents OD green is more of a green/greyish color, not a vibrant OD Green. Looking at the pics on a computer instead of my phone, def. looks like Forest Green!

I’ll try to get better picks. It is a pretty dark green. I know the kj description describes it as dark green, but I don’t think there’s a g10 color called dark green.
it’s definitely a green green. it’s so dark I thought OD green , but OD does look kinda “off green” so maybe forest,,,
The pics really aren’t that bad at showing the percieved color just sayin, its color always looks like it’s in bad lighting , but yeah, as soon as the sun comes out I’ll shoot some more.

Current Composite makes a Forest Green as does Norplex. It is dark green in color. They call it Forest Green, not Dark Green though?

OK so here's whatcha gotta do.

Take that Knife Joker green knife, take it apart and scan the inside of a scale. You can use an app for that. Do not scan a picture because you don't know if the image has been colour corrected or if your monitor settings are affecting the image view.

Then scan some similar green G10 till you find the best match.

It may also be a texture peel ply type material, or sand/bead blasted too. The texture may effect the end color because it's not polished, shiny, glossy looking.

Yep that's why you have to scan the inside of the scale.

it’s peel ply, that fabric texture

Oh! This just clued me in that g10 is just a designation for a specific product that fits g10 properties. So there really could be infinite g10 made by as many mfg. there is certainly going to be some variance in qualities. Such as colors , any color one wants really, so there could easily be a g10 made by some mfg that’s called dark green.
