G10 composition question for the DIY crowd

Have been fooling around making my own Micarta and have had some success.
Now I find that there are MANY different types of Fiberglass cloth's and weaves.
Who knows which one they use in commercial G10?
or
When reinforcing your homemade stuff which is the best type of fiberglass cloth to use?
Stuff from Home Depot is too coarse for me.

Go to a well stocked hobby shop that sells a lot of supplies for model RC airplanes. A lot of those guys make their own fiberglass parts or sheath the wooden structure with a very thin layer of fiberglass.
