Just saw a thread over at sal's place with a cricket with a beautifully sculpted handle slab in g10. To my eyes, this thing would be a huge winner. I can't imagine a cricket fan not wanting one. I have another thought about the cricket. Why not use the same geometry except with the g10 overlay and make the knife slightly larger in every dimension. Not so large that it is no longer a cricket, just enough that your ring finger can get a full purchase on the handle without having to use the blade choil. Also, a bit of jimping on the back of the blade. This variant could be named after a large species of cricket (maybe the locust?). I think a moderate change like this would make the cricket the ultimate tiny harder use knife that is also a serious back up defense blade. Am I crazy?
