G10 Doohicky Plaything

I want to make a Plaything for my empty hand during school out of G10. I want to incorporate moving parts, like maybe a dovetail channel for sliding or something simple like that. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on what a good, small thing is to fiddle with. If it wasn't school, I would use my iPod or knife, but the rules are the rules.
 
I taught myself some pretty sweet pen flipping tricks in psychology class back in college... Dropped it a lot at first, pretty sure the teacher wasn't by biggest fan.
 
If I wanted a wheel counter, I'd use my umpire clicker. But maybe a wheel that clicks, don't k ow just yet.
 
Buy a Balisong with a bottle opener or pen in place of the knife. As far as I can tell, they should be legal everywhere - even on a plane :D
