My question is "Can i swop round the VG10 blade for the ZDP189 to make a great little EDC perfect.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

PS. I am awaitng the arrival of my new G10 DF.
 
I remember someone had posted before that this could be done and suggested that the blade should be swapped together with the lock bar.

Yes. You may or may not need to swap the lockbars. I swapped a SB blade with the VG10 blade from a G10 Dragonfly. The lockbar sits way high on the VG10 blade in the SB handle, but the G10 version is almost perfect so I left the lockbars as they are (The SB handle contains a spare blade for my orange LW as far as I'm concerned now so it doesn't bother me at all).
