I really don’t like tan or FDE. However sometimes you pick up pieces you want even if they have handle colors that you don’t. So I turned them dark brown. I love it... looks like dark wood... or maybe old aged leather. Either way... to me it’s a vast improvement over the plastic look of tan.

You got a Spyderco thingy, and one of those Ka-Bar-type thingies and a doodad that looks like a really scary axe. Yeah, we could be friends.

And the brown looks good, too. :)

I like the kit. Makes me wonder where you're going, and if I could tag along. Anyway, what are the two grey canisters toward the front side of the picture? Are they containers for something, or are they those kind of explosive devices where the lid pops off and the front quarter panel of an enemy vehicle disappears?

The knives look good, too. :D

I've carried a Maxpedition Versipack since they first came out eons ago. Those tubes on the side are Thyrm CellVaults. They hold 1X 18650 or 2X CR123 batteries. I carry a little Xtar battery charger with me that can either charge the 18650's OR use the 18650 to charge my iphone. So I keep my flashlights and phone going on the fly. And even if I got into a situation where there was no power... my pack could keep things running for at least 48 really bad hours. I keep most things modular in it so I can change the loadout depending on where I'm going. But I carry a medium fixed blade of some type, My Para 2, and Glock 19 everywhere I go.
