I am looking at a G10 Endura. I am seeking comments regarding this knife. It seems like a good package - VG-10, G-10, full flat grind. I am used to a thicker blade - is the blade too thin at 3mm? Thanks for the help.

....too thin for what ? Prying and using the tip as a screw-driver....yes. EDC cutting chores and then some.....not at all. You'd really have work at damaging the blade. The Endura is one of my very favorite Spyderco designs and I think the Full Flat Ground, G-10 model is incredibly well made, useful, and sturdy. They have been dicontinued by Spyderco.....my advice is to get one before the price jumps way up over suggested retail.

3mm is pretty standard. The smaller knives use 2.5mm, and the thicker knives (only ones I can think of are Chinook, Para/Military, old Mini/Manix) use 4mm.

3mm is good, in my opinion.

I can tell you that the Endura4 G10 is sufficient for everything you'll be doing, minus heavy camp duty. I have the E4 G10 myself, it's a wonderful knife and I can tell you more about it if you can be a little more specific.

Thank you for all of the comments. It seems like Spyderco has taken this model more "upscale" compared to my much older endura. I was also interested in the overall impressions of this knife.

I have the G10 FFG Endura and it is a fine knife,Mine is the smoothest Spyderco I have and it is a very nice looking knife. I am a Military Carry type to begin with so the knife is not my EDC but I do carry it it from time to time. If you like that size of knife, you will not be disapointed with it.

Overall impression: Solid!
The G10 scales give the knife a whole different character. It's heavier and stiffer. Smooth action and solid lockup. It's a fairly long slim blade although slim and easy to carry.

Thank you for the comments. I got one and like it very much so far although I haven't had a chance to really use it yet. I really like the G-10.

The G-10 scales add stiffness that the FRN handles just could not provide. It gives the Endura a lot of sturdiness and eliminated all hints of blade play the FRN model has. I love it.
