G10 handled Police

I EDC'd a G10 handled Police for 7-8 years, loved it, but switched to a Millie when my college grad son asked for a good carry knife. I love carrying my Millie (and Calypso Jr., and Wegner), but I feel a hole that needs to be filled with a replacement G10 Police. But they all seem to be available now with stainless handles. This may have already been discussed, and I missed it, but I'm wondering if the Police model is made in G10 anymore. And if not...why??? I'm not a stainless handle kinda guy. I like the grip of G10. If it's not made in G10 then I'll have to pursue one on the trade forum or on the Bay. Please advise.
 
Unfortunately the G-10 Police model is no longer in production. If you can shell out the cash however, there is a limited edition carbon fiber model that you can still find if you do a search on google.
 
There is a G10 police for sale in my nearest knife shop. I noticed it last time I was there. I would have to ship it to you from Australia however......
 
knivesonline.net has it listed.. however their website's certificate is outdated by 2 years and they haven't answered to my last couple of e-mails. For an online retailer, that's weak.

Grab it if you don't have one Ming. It's one of the sweetest 4" folders of all time.
I'll just trade my kid the Millie for his Police (if he'll give it up), and get another Millie.
The G10 must have sold poorly compared to the stainless. I wouldn't expect Sal to discontinue a profitable option. I just don't understand why the Police wouldn't sell in G10 when so many other models do. :confused:

Sorry for the Knifus interruptus Phil. I got caught up in Perth and ran out of time to get to the knife shop. Will call them today and ask them to stick it under the counter and then email you. I'll be able to pick it up on Sunday.
