Searched but didn't see a thread on this little guy.

Edited to add - I just saw on Kershaw's website that this knife has been discontinued - that sucks but I'm glad I got one ordered from a place that happened to have them in-stock (seems like I'm always late to the game with these things).

I just ordered one and am kind of excited. I don't know what it is about this little guy, but man it seems like a perfect little forget-about-it folder to slip into the pocket and not ever notice. It's a skinny little knife, but it seems like it's about perfect size and I love what all it's got going on in this tiny little package.

Single-side thumbstud
Liner lock
Single-position pocketclip (right-hand Tip-up)
Steel: 8Cr13MoV, satin finish
Handle: Textured G-10
Blade length: 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm)
Closed length: 3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm)
Overall length: 7 in. (17.8 cm)
Weight: 1.8 oz.

Anyone have one? What are your thoughts?

EZB, I've got one that I won from KershawGuy, I've only carried it sparingly compared to others in my rotation, mainly when i might be wearing slacks or a suit. It's very light and mine is sharp out the box. it's a nice design IMO, and you should enjoy it.

Man - that pic makes it look even smaller. I'm excited (I'm digging the tiny folders lately).

BTW, love the backdrop.

I think that it's a great little gent's tactical (lol!). The knife that started my Kershaw mania is it's father, the 1431 Wild Wild Turkey, same exact size and design, just made in Japan with ATS34 blade steel. It's a bit funny to me that they named it the Hawk, because the WWT's bigger brother was the 1436 Hawk, which is a nice medium sized knife. Both of them were produced in Ti as well, the 1430 Ti Wild Wild Turkey and the 1435 Ti Hawk. As soon as I get around to taking pictures of my collection, I will post them. Have some of the rest of the old High Tech series as well (Talon, Starkey Ridge). Anyway, I think the new Hawk is a great choice for the price.

I have the Wild Wild Turkey (and the Talon and Starkey Ridge) and it is a beautiful knife. The G-10 was a great idea, getting this design back into production.

I have one....I love it..got it at Cabela's for $12 about a year ago.

This little guy is a freaking impressive knife in a very tiny package.

I've been carrying it for a day or so now and I absolutely love it.

To be fair, this is my 2nd one - the first one came in and was impressive (but sadly, I cannot say the same for the Buck Lite Max I ordered to use as a dirty Santa gift). I sent back the Buck and sacrificed my G10 Hawk which was fought over and well received in the Dirty Santa contest.

So I ordered a second one for myself and man I'm glad I did. Lots of cutting edge for such a lightweight compact/skinny knife.

I just ordered one, I like the shape. This could be a perfect knife for backpacking, where weight is a concern, but you still want a useable blade shape.

I like it to!
Just a word of waring, the screws aren't very strong.....I broke one.

That is what I was referring too, I was figuring people would pick up on that. I never know if I am allowed to mention specific sites. I'm hoping someone buys the Tanto Blur that is on sale so I can stop drooling on it. lol
