G10 inlays on Benchmade 707

Hi everyone,

I own a Benchmade 707 sequel as EDC. Overall, I am a big fan of this knife but I have never been truly convinced by the G10 inlays. I would love to have wood (e.g Ironwood) ones instead. Has anybody tried to replace them with something else or do you think it would badly damage the aluminium handles?
