G10 inlays would be sweet, right?

Would you buy a g10 inlaid Sebenza?

I realize g10 isn't fancy like box elder or carbon fiber, but I'd totally buy a black or OD or even orange g10 inlaid Sebenza.

You?

After having micarta inlays, G10 can't hold a candle to micarta.

Also, micarta is nice, but g10 is so much more grippy...

Micarta grips better than G10 when wet or bloody. G10 grips well dry, but not very well when wet or bloody.

Micarta also has that nice warm feeling no matter the temperature. It's also lighter, but that doesn't matter much with small pieces such as inlays.

Micarta is by far my most favorite handle material, but for people that want colorful handles G10 would be great for that.

I think some colored G10, or layered G10 would be nice. We could get some OD and Black layers with bead blasted finish for some camo action going. Of course I would not want to get rid of anything to include G10. I really like the wood inlays and CRK is one of the few production companies doing wood inlay modern folders, so that is really cool.

If anything I could go for some other colors of Micarta, but the various types of wood keep me interested.

That's my opinion also, couldn't have stated it better.

The gripiness G10 usually has is from it being laid up on a textured base when its made. Once you machine it like the inlays are you'll end up with a smooth finish that isn't any more grippy than stabilized wood. There wouldn't be any benefit other than added colors, which could be interesting but I'd be more interested in other patterns and types of Micarta. Its also less of a "Living" material, since its glass and phenolic resin neither of which give you much of a warm feeling like the materials CRK uses.

I voted nay since I'm not really into G10. I'd love a Westinghouse white micarta inlaid Sebenza though.

Eeeeh not for me but it would be cool for those who like it.

Like the grip factor of micarta, but love the variety of G10 colors. Count me in for the option...;-)

Personally, I am not interested in such a variation. If you are, there are numerous providers that could make and inlay G-10 for you in your existing inlaid knife.

I would agree with those that say that G-10 is the lesser version of what Micarta offers. The aggressive texturing I have seen applied to G-10 photographs well, but I have never seen a version that actually worked well in use.
