G10 knives, what kind of edge do they hold and take

was going to order some g10 from K&G Knife Supply to make a G10 neck knife but do they work as far as taking a edge???

If you ever get an edge on G-10 let me know - all I've ever seen or heard of it being used for is handle material - I think it's a carbon/graphite composite.. and holds no edge - but maybe we could get someone intersted in working on it !

I've seen a blade made of G-10. My advice is, don't buy one of these for the edge. I suppose it would work about as well as the average letter opener. Think of the G-10 blade as a metal-detector-proof, last ditch stabbing implement.
