G10 mags are fatter than micarta mags

Today I got my third ASH1 with magnum handles and noticed the magnum G10s seem to fill my hand more than the magnum canvas micarta. Let's see...

<gets calipers and measures 3 handles at the middle/palm swell widest point>

Black G10 magnums on DC blade: 1.048"
OD G10 magnums on DC blade: 1.041"
Black canvas magnums on DC blade: 1.001"

It's a small difference but I can feel it!

By the way, the OD G10s with DC are a flugin' killer combo!! :thumbup:

cool. I am waiting on OD/Blk G-10 in standard scales.

Its the only one I ordered standard so I am glad to hear the G-10 runs large cause the Mag micarta is awesome.

I like em big. I can go either way as far as G-10 vs Micarta, just so long as they're beefy!

Don't count on that always being true. I've seen fusion and SF g10 mags thinner than their micarta mag counterparts.
