I've seen a lot of talk about bringing back the G10 Native. I for one would love to see the Native 1 given the G10 treatment in either black or blue, maybe even a new color like OD green or the gray Caly's come in. I wanted to know what others thought of a G10 Native and whether they'd be interested in buying one. I think I'd get two. Also, does anyone have any idea as to what they might cost if this did happen?

I'd be in for two, maybe one in a couple of different colors (grey, black). Would an orange G-10 be too bizzare? That would definitely be something different than blakc G-10.

I'd get it only if it was linerless, and thus thin.(the Dodo and its attributes grow on you, I tells ya!) We already have a Mini-Manix to fill the "Tank" role.

Have four original, unlined G-10 ones in my display case already, see no need for another. If I should develop a desire for a heavy duty Native "user", I know STR can make me one with canvas micarta scales, which I prefer to G-10, over titanium liners.

I really need a G-10 Native. However, in my opinion, black is the only color for me. Nothing to draw attention to it, as it would be an EDC knife. I can't stand the look of the G-10's that had the inlays. Too hoytie-toytie for me :)

Sorry, but if there is going to be a Native Sprint run or remake, I'd much rather have a Carbon Fiber handled Native!!!

I'm in for a CF / ZDP-189 as well. Mabye something smoother and more "artsy" than peel-ply.

I sit here DDRROOOOLLIINNGG.

Yea, I could go for a G-10 Native, full steel liners, S30V.
I think I will call her the Micro Manix.

Put G10 handles on anything and you make it better. Life is too short for FRN knives. The FRN Native is a good knife, if you add some G10 scales on a lightened stainless frame, you have a great knife.

G10 is awesome. I want all of my furniture to be made out of it. I want a G10 cell phone. I wish my car were made out of G10.

Have you tried CF??? Don't get me wrong, I've several G10 handles and it's a great material. To me, CF is just that much better.

I have one knife in CF, an old Buck Odyssey, it looks cool, but it's as slippery as wet bar of soap. I haven't come across any other knives in CF, and probably won't anytime soon, since I live in pussytown Atlanta where there is zero knife retail. Anything I want I have to take a chance and order online. I really miss having a place where I can try knives out beofre I plunk down serious cash.

If I saw a CF Native online for a decent price, I'd buy it if it looked grippy.

I still want a G10 cell phone.

My Brother, I feel your pain. Nothing here either. There is one store 70 miles from here that has an excellent selection of Case:rolleyes: AWA a few Benchmades... I've completely given up finding anything that doesn't come in the mail. That's a pity too. I like patronizing local businesses and am willing to go a few ducets more to do so. Unfortunately this is a serious void in our local economy. (or, perhaps, more accurately, our local economy is a VOID!)

Hey Sal, ever consider opening a SFO in Ohio???

Oh yeah, back to CF, definately, if you get a chance at either of the CF Milis, do it, They are great knives. I think Sal has a couple more Peel Ply models in the works, IIRC.

Cheers,

Ken

What part of Ohio? I'm near Akron, northast part of the state. Besides getting SAKs at Target and Bucks at Walmart, theres a gun / camping store near my house that has a decent kershaw / BM / Spyderco selection. Prices are a tad steep though, my Delica was 55$.
