Was thinking about grabbing a Nimravus in a little bit, but my buddy got his in the mail yesterday. It has aluminum handles that were pretty uncomfortable compared to the G10 models I've handled, and the grips got frosty cold while he was whittling in his backyard.

Are these still available with G10? I looked around and couldn't find anything.

If not, will you please consider offering the G10 again? No offense, but those aluminum grips are pretty terrible. :(

If the scales are removable then you could always have scales made by one of the custom scale makers on here if you want them bad enough

No offense taken, but those grips are one of the reasons I liked the knife so much. To each his own but I am sure you could find someone to make you a pair you would like.
Frank.

You can still find the G10 models but they haven't made them in a long time, sad really, if you use your knife in the heat/cold/wet metal handles suck compared to G10/Micarta. If you keep your eyes open on the forums/ebay etc. you can usually find a G10 version or two around at the same prices as the newer aluminum handle models if not less. I picked up an AL handle version awhile ago cheap but made a set of G10 slabs for it.

You can also find some different blade steels, early ones were ATS34 if I remember right, and I have one in M2HS and 154CM and I believe they made some versions in D2 as well.

They're around, would love to find a D2 version. This one is an ATS-34 plain edge user I found for an excellent price.

I have the Nimravus Cub in G10. I had just looked them up the other day for the larger version and noticed the new handles. I prefer the G10.
