G10 Police PE vs. Military PE==Which for EDC??

For those of you, Spyderholics, that prefer larger Spydies;
I'd like to know what your opinion is about the G10 Police vs. the Military for EDC. Which one would you choose, and why?

I carry a military as a edc. But I also have a police g-10 SE as well on my belt. I say take the millie.
 
As for EDC I use the Millie, but it a SE one :D
I liiikee it verry much.
But I use my PE G-10 Police as well - in more sophisticated situations.

For EDC: Go for the Military.

Stay sharp. The Doc. :D
 
Hi KBR! When the Military first came out, it became my EDC for a number of years, and it still rides in the console of my Jeep. I liked the fit in my hand better, and the integral upper and lower guards on the blade. If I have to stab or punch a hole in something, it is much less likely than a Police to let my hand slip onto the blade. My ancient police is still around, but it is for utility chores around the house. The Gunting is my present EDC.
 
Military doubtless, a single hand to close instead of 2, nothing that for that it is better.

Before i had a police with a stainless hendle, my edc for this time is a military g10.

had my Millie for a month or so... 50/50(actually 2.5"/1.5"), but the 440V ROCKS!!!! shaving sharp, and the tip is pointy as hell(ask my leg:D...)

and flat grind, wide blade, wide contoured handle... do the math.
 
I have carried my Millie PE more than any other Spydie that I own, in fact, just about everyday since I received it from 1sks a few months ago. I highly agree that it is a great EDC, however as with any new Spydie, I am eager to carry my new G10 Police PE for awhile to see how it rides in pocket, slices and dices in everyday cutting chores, etc..

I was just curious about your opinions for EDC between these two Spydies. :D

The police is a pile of crap.The Military is the best in the spyderco line up,now how about tradeing that old rust magnet crapy looking police to me.;)
 
I have to say that I haven't had a police to compare the two but I seems to me that they would be close to the same for EDC.I too have carried my Milli more than all the others.The only real concern I might have with the Police over the milli is the tip on the police seems like it may be slightly weeker.I have often thought that the G10 Police in flat grind is just about like Military with a differant lock.
 
I have a black blade endura comeing that I may be putting up for trade but really I think I will try to trade it toward a Ti Salsa.:rolleyes:
 
The flat grind on the Police is AWESOME, the ATS-55 blade takes a hair-poppin', shaving sharp edge(sharper than the Millie). However, my Millie wins me over...mainly because of the belly on the blade and (IMO)tougher tip. :D I will use the Police, however, for non-work carry. ;)
