Does anyone have any experience with G10 when you are sweaty or its wet out? I have no experience with it, but plenty of Micarta and Res-c handling.

In my experience, sweat, rain, blood = zero effect on the grippiness go G10. It maintains good purchase in all of the above.

i love me some G10... i'm seriously considering having all my blades rehandled in blue/black g10.... but omg the cost!

its definitely slicker than micarta if they are both smooth, but it takes more crisp edges too when it has any kind of pattern on it.

Give me G-10!!! Love micarta as well but prefer G-10. I hear all the time that G-10 is slicker when wet---NOT my experience at all. There are not that many people who use G-10 in more of a temperature range than me. I'm sure there are some but not many. My blades get used from -50'F to 85'F. Snow, ice, rain, mud, blood and sweat. I'll take G-10!!! Plus I work with it...

Ive used both G-10 and micarta during skinning and I prefer G-10 as it "feels" more hygeinic and doesnt stain as micarta does. More easily cleaned.

Like already stated above, if both are smooth hand shaped then g10 is more slippery than canvas micarta but when textured nothing grips like G10.

I love Busse Combat's machine textured g-10. It's the best handle scale material IMO.
