You mentioned in an earlier thread that you make G10 replacement scales for the Benchmade 670 Apparition.

What colors do you offer (desert tan, olive green, black)?

Are the scales the same thickness as the current kudo/plastic scales? Just want to make sure the screws do not have to be changed (different length).

Do I have to send you my knife, or do you already have the pattern (knife on hand)?

Desert tan G10 scales, with some sort of texture would be my first choice.

Hi Deano. I did do one in green canvas not G10.

I've been referring those type jobs requiring a lot of finish work and sanding to other friends of mine rather than take them on myself due my asthma. My shop is so enclosed and small for heating reasons in the winter months that I would not be intersted in doing work like that until spring or summer when I can open the barn doors and properly vent the place. G10 dust really gets to me in a tight enclosed space that doesn't vent well and it can linger for days getting to you even if you wear a respirator when working it.

You might contact me in the summer months to see about it. I apologize but its the way I have to do it.

On your questions. I'd need the knife yes. Colors of G10 are widely available. I don't stock tan but I'm sure it could be found somewhere. I've got black and tan and black and red, blue, teal, orange, black, and some G11 in jade green right now but that of course changes as I use it up. Again though I tend to limit what I'll do with these caustic materials in the winter time.

For what its worth my good friend Dirk (Oupa) could probably get that knocked out for you before Spring if you would rather contact him and that is fine with me. http://forum.ramanon.com/forumdisplay.php?f=149

Thanks for asking.

I hate to put you off but I just can't afford to be put down again by that dust. Its sent me to the ER with breathing problems in the past. Most guys that know me are surprised I even still work with it at all.
