I really like my FRN/S30V Natives - the ones WallyWorld carried years ago. I would love to buy a newer Native in G10 and S35VN. What model am I looking for, is it hard to find (ie, limited production), and what sort of price range should I expect? Thanks!

Have a Happy and Safe New Year!

The Native 5's just came out recently. I've seen them sell for $120-135 at the most. Any online knife store should have them.

I also love the Native 4 which is only about 55 bucks. s30v, very very very light weight, frn handle, no liners.

Stainz the NativeV are awesome knives. Had some carbon fiber added to mine.

Native5 - so that's it. atony, that cf variant looks great... thanks for sharing. I do have a spare Native4 - still unused - from the WallyWorld up the street some years back. I stupidly used my original one to debur a drilled hole and broke it's tip off. Reground, it looks 'natural'. What a great pocket knife - still tight, a shock to me as it is riveted - a feature I wasn't fond of when I bought the knife, but, in fairness, hasn't been a problem. My first knife purchase of 2012 will be a Native5! Thanks, everyone!

Probably you are talking about Native and not Native4. Native4 was discontinued couple years ago, had CF scales, liners, VG10 and FFG.

Get the N5 Stainz, you won't regret it. Its a small tank of a knife as it locks with a solid thwak. It fits the hand better than the 755 MPR with much less the weight. If the N5 was thicker overall it would be perfect.
