all micarta is paper-based polymer. it's got a "warmer" more cuddly feel to the hand. textured g10 has similar grippiness to canvas micarta. g10 is tough enough to pound all kinds of stuff with (including some metals), don't try that with micarta of any sort. hey, just some FYI from a fool who's used the handle of a knife to pound something, lol.Bladeswinger said:Quiet Storm]Depends on which type of Micarta you're talking about.
