G2 Police...circa 1992

I have a Police Model in full steel from around 1992 in G2. I was curious as to what the value/benefits of the G2 was. The knife is in great shape, but I jsut bought a new CF Police from 1SKS and wanted to know if I should put the G2 away for collector value.

Keep it, Put it up. Gin 1 aka G2 is a good steel. It was easy to sharpen,good edge holding abilities. overall good steel choice from Spyderco in the early years. plus they don't use Gin aka G2 steel anymore.
