This modification is simple does not affect the sheaths integrity and makes you sebby field strip able because you always will have the tool with you.
Here is what I did:
Got a #43 drill bit long enough to drill the hole about 1/16 to 1/8 longer than the long side of the allen wrench. Drilled the hole parallel to the stitching on the long flat side right in the glue seam. Then I put the allen wrench in and turned it in line with the glue seam and using an x-acto knife I made the cutout for the small end of the allen. Put a little shoe polish in the cutout area and it is all done. When the knife is in the sheath it tightens up the wrench so that you can't get it out, not that it was going to come out before, but it just locks it in place.
