G4 questions...

I have noticed that the G4 has been listed as made in China and appears to have a black coating. I also came across a version described as having a blade with a gray matte finish and being made in Taiwan. I was wondering if this was a misprint or if the G4 is now being made in Taiwan. Is coating optional? Are partial serrations also optional?

From what I've seen, it is China, plain edge, and black blade. This is an exceptional knife for the cost of admission. With the steel liners imbedded within the G-10 scales it makes the G4 very thin and comfortable to carry. As far as serrations, you could order the knife from www.888knivesrus.com and for $3 thay will add serrations.:)
 
Made in China. Titanium gray blade. Got mine in November. Don't know if they've changed anything since then.
