Well, seems like it has been a while since I got anything done and it has. But I haven't been slacking, just refining and tweaking. ;)

Here is what I have so far. Blade and bolsters are out of 204 layer single twist 1095 and 15N20 Damascus. Back bar is 1095 steel with a gun blued finish, liners are anodized 6Al-4V Titanium, and the scales are Thuya Burl.

She is still a bit "tight" so I need to figure out if I have to modify things, or if she is going to break in a bit with use. Other than having to replace the planned Damascus back bar with a high carbon steel one, every thing is going well.

Let me know what you think, good or bad, I want to hear it. TIA

Llokin' REAL good! I think the burl plays nicely with the damascus. Very nice. Something I was wondering... is there liability for a maker when it comes to autos? Like, let's say you sell an auto to someone who isn't law enforcement, Military, EMT, or firefighter. Is that a problem, or is the buyer the one who has to worry?

Thanks for the compliments, she smells nice too, with the Thuya burl scales. :D

The laws vary in every state. It sounds like you already know what you are talking about if you know the exeptions, but for those who don't know, here is is a great place to go to find information about your own state:
