Got rid of dotrotted '07 Yukon that Ex- had to have. It wasn't as well designed as the cherry '01 she drove away in.

Only thing I miss in my new GMC Sierra crew-cab is the back-up sensors. I had a gadget catalogue from somewhere that showed a small remote bumper-mount camera that showed a fanshaped area aroung the back bumper & the screen could be dashmounted . I dayum deal & only $99 bucks.

Naturally this aging dumba$$ pitched it weeks ago........

Any thoughts ? :D

There are many similar systems out there. Be sure to get one that has good quality components that is properly built for road grime.

A $100 unit that lasts the first two weeks of winter or the first rain storm or muddy road is a waste of $100.

I happened to be talking just a few weeks ago to a friend of mine who is a test engineer at Freightliner. His job is to put a million miles of wear on a truck in three months. He commented on tests he had recently done on some aftermarket products including back-up cameras. He managed to kill most of them in a matter of hours.

Spend the money. As my sainted father used to say, "Buy quality and you'll only cry once."

...or save thousands of dollars by trading in your monster truck for a small car, suited to the needs and wallet of a pensioner.

One that doesn't require a camera system to enable you to reverse it!

You colonials and your status symbols...

I am an old fart & have paid my dues in this world. I went through a big ,expensive divorce but my income is adequate enough for me to pi$$ away about a thousand a month & even save a few hundred.

If were weren't a congenial bunch ,I'd zap you with this....

WHEN YOU PAY MY BILLS,YOU CAN TEND TO MY BUSINESS !

My favorite line for nosy parkers.

No offence among friends ,okay ?

Thanks for sage words...

Ask your UPS driver .Mine demonstrated his tv system .I'm sure they must work if UPS bought them.

This Colonial is waiting for motor freight to bring him a brush-grill guard.

When the eagle finishes flying he's ordering the bumper mount T/V monitor.

I am a believer that I can't take it with me.

I have thought about destroying my will & let the kids have a battle royal....
