I'm in the market for an EDC "tactical" LED flashlight.

Preferably, I would like it to use regular AA or AAA batteries for convenience.

I would like it to be compact enough to carry in a pocket with a clip and with minimal bulk.

I would like to spend between $50 and $75.

As a gadget newby, what lights would yall recommend?
 
I have a Fenix LD10 and would highly recommend it for consideration, it's been a great light.

I have a nitecore smart pd and it's really nice. It's gone through the wash a couple times. The last time I opened the dryer and thought I was being interrogated. The light was shining right in my eyes. Hardly shows any wear and I've had it for a few years. Runs on AA and seems to last a while. I usually have it at medium brightness which is about 45-60 lumens.

The only thing I don't like is that it's completely round and likes to roll around. An octagonal bezel like on the surefires would be keen.
