I was wondering why everone wants one with milled out liners? I their some big difference between them and the solid liner? Sorry if this has been explanned before.

Most that I've seen that asked about the liners want the solid liners. This is because there is talk of the very first run being a higher hardness.

Wasn't there some talk about the first run having full carbon fiber scales too, rather than just the peel ply? I have one of the early ones (solid liners). I have no idea whether it's harder than the later ones, but it takes an incredible (scary) edge.

my GB with solid liners does not have full CF scales.

I'm not even sure I can tell the difference. But it doesn't matter, because I don't really care whether they are full CF or not. It's a great knife with great steel, and mine is a keeper. I've never seen such quality in such an affordable package.

Weight.
The milling reduces the weight without appreciably changing the strength of the knife.

It doesn't appreciably create any weight loss either. It's something like .25 oz or .33oz, if someone can tell the difference while the knife is clipped to the pocket, they they must be part scale. :D
