Here's another one headed with me to Seattle. A small-ish gambler's hide-out bowie. This is slim and trim, light and fast in hand.

Hand forged from 1084
10 3/4" overall, 6" blade, .200" thick at the ricasso
Full distal taper, ending in a nice point
False edge, not sharp
Rounded spine and ricasso edge
Black g-10 fittings
Stabilized Amboyna burl handle, sculpted, carved and textured

Just a fun pic with some cool cards and some interesting, turn of the 20th century coins:

Nice work, Mr. Doyle.

Sleek and clean. Fantastic attention to detail. Beautiful knife.

My vest pocket will never again feel right.

Dear Lord John ... That is just a perfect little Bowie. Everything is done to perfection!
