Hey Guys,

What are the most effective, easiest to use, durable and portable game calls you like? I want to learn how to use them and put them in my day pack.

Also, where do you get them?

Thanks,

Geoff

set of two point buck antlers, hanging around your neck. and you might want to round off the points as well.

might be worth trying to learn how to mimick the sounds of different types of animals without the use of calls...(saves on space in the pack.. its a cools kill, and the chicks love it.... well maybe not the last one.

I practiced and I practiced, but I never did get that last one to work for me. I heard a lot of it back in the eighties, though. It went something like "Hey, baby, what's your sign?"

Sorry, John, I couldn't resist.

Mouth calls are tiny and although they are usually marketed for specific animals, you can usually make a pretty wide range of animal sounds with them.
