Game Warden fans.... What's your game plan?

Hi, All.....
Just thought I'd take a poll as to what all of the Game Warden fans are doing.
Are you totally OCD, and have one or more of each?
Or do you just have one of each to match your socks on a daily basis?
Or are you just getting a couple here and there to use as trading fodder?
ME...... Well, I like the knife, but not enough to get them all. I'm just collecting what GWs I have right now, with no future plans to trade or sell.
I really the SAR knife, so I have 2 of those, and I've got a couple of each of the skeleton wardens, and I was able to manage to pick up some of the recent G10 wardens without having to compete with others in the F5 game, since I've always like G10, and the lower cost of the coated blades appealed to me! :)
Also, I like mil. overruns, just because....., so I have both smogs.
AND I've got 3 (with a 4th on the way) different Bad Wardens, with a black and tan micarta GW to match their Bad Warden counterparts.
 
Trying to find the perfect 4 for my liking...

I have three locked in:
SMOG SE
Sage
OJ

I have the cycled through:
Fence Fried
Flame
SAR

Trying to make the final 4:
Urban Grey/Tan on it's way from the BCS

If that one doesn't make it, I will try and hunt down a 2007 SE version and see if it fits in. :)
 
I think I've got 5. Maybe 6. 2 customs. I'm liking the coolness of hte customs more.

I've got a snake, tiger/satin, orange/satin and SMOG Satin. (Hmmmm, do I like satin???) plus a greenlinen/sage b/c I like green. Oh, and a muddy-skel.

No goal for the whole set. Lots that I've gotten to look at and didn't like. I currently have a 2 of the G10 that don't tickle my fancy.

I have no GW goals at this point. Cool handles is my thing right now. If that means cool handles on a GW at a reasonable price, then that'll work. If not, I'll get another model. :)
 
I plan to buy no more unless there satin with a handle I like alot...I have enough. Sold seven I didn't like that much...kept the ones below.

I have about 12 including two customs, with no immediate plans to trade or sell. I am currently using 2 of them. I also don't have any designs on collecting every single one of them.
 
Like all the Busse's, you can't handle one to see if you like it before buying. The GW's are affordable enough to easily buy and popular enough to resell quickly if they don't really float your boat. Like you, the SAR does something for me. That is my EDC (when I'm not at work, they frown on weapons). I have had the flame, orange, and black skelly but I did not keep em. I have the black/green and the black/tan right now that will probably be resold or traded at some point. I am keeping the satin/tiger because although its not actually the LE, it does match them quite nicely, and of course I am keeping the well used SAR.
I can't imagine trying to have them all. Thats a little too rich for my blood but I sure enjoy looking at some of the other members posts of their sets. I am spending that money on other models and trying to end up with a nice set of LE's in a descending size range starting with the FBM and going down to the Tiger GW.
I have said many times that I am not going to buy any more GW's but when they are at the store, I have not been so disciplined so far!!!!!!!!!
 
Four so far:

SAR - my favorite EDC Warden. It sees a lot of use around here.
Fried Fence - Great but too pretty to use (so far)
2 Muddy Skellies

Love to hear from anyone who's using their new Fat SE Warden.... How is it??

I plan to get just one as a start, as a user.

If I like it I will prolly end up with a few more to gave away as gifts.
 
I've been through a couple, and I like them for pocket carry. I really want the SMOG with teeth, but lack the funds every time one comes up at the trough. Nice blade, and a nice little INFI fix for us junkies (or troughies).
 
I've bought two and sold them.

I keep thinking the next one is going to be the perfect one.

I believe the Miliganza AD has fulfilled my quest for a EDC stye knife.

From the CS, I've got

1,3,4,5,8,11,12,17

I EDC the LE since the first offering :thumbup:, missed the Tan/DC (okay, I don't like tan scales, sorry Chuck, more for you), had a bunch of Blk/DC, traded them down to 1, I've got Skunks' satin/green linen :p. Don't like teef, so SMOG PE, no SE, not keen on the "Skittles" models, got a few Skelly Wardens :confused:, both of the tigers :cool:, the black tiger will be an EDC when I wear out the LE. Got a sage, goes with the Milliganza sages.

There's some sort of madness to my method ;)

I love my Game Wardens and have kept every single one I have purchased. I think they are the most practical sized EDC busse knife. The AD is a very close second for me.

I already have more than I can use but I still WANT more! :thumbup: :thumbup:
 
No GWs yet. Just scored a Sage AD from BCS. Hoping it gets here next week. I really like the SAR and the Black Tie. Have been admiring the one's my friend owns. Also really like the 2007 SE. Doubt I'll ever get my hands on one of those. I would really like to get a crinkle black w/ black micarta to match my BATAC.
 
The first GW I saw in the Company Store was a Black/DC. I bought a couple of those and gave one to my son. The next one I actually saw for sale in the BCS was the Jaxx Warden, which I passed on. What I really wanted was a serrated SMOG, but I couldn't find one on the secondary market at anywhere close to what I thought was a fair price. So I started buying whatever popped up at the Company Store, thinking maybe somewhere down the road I could trade them for what I really wanted. And then I forgot to stop. And not just one, but usually two or three of each. And then there were the Rams and Buffaloes at the 'Ganzaaas. Couldn't pass on those. And then I had to go back and fill in the things I missed.

And then I started to think about how much money I was spending on these things, and I remembered the talk I had with my son many years ago about the long-term investment potential of Beanie Babies. I resolved to pick a couple favorites and sell off the rest.

But it didn't work out that way. Prices seemed somewhat depressed due to an over-saturation of the market. New issues sat in the Company Store overnight! I bought more. And more.

And now I find myself doing this:

And I think that answers the question that started this thread. I don't have a game plan. Game Warden Circles could only be the result of alien influence. I'm obviously being controlled by outside forces whose motives are unknown to me.
 
Long term I want one of each production GW in addition to users.

The users so far are the LE and Buffalo.

As time goes on I find that the Black Micarta is becoming my favorite.:thumbup: Good thing I have a few of those:cool:
