Dear Jerry,
please make more Games Wardens for us sane people to buy ! it seems they are selling for 100 clams OVER the Busse Company store site in the forums!

On Exchange orange 250 - Co Store price w/shipping 231

On Exchange yellow 244 - 221

On Exchange yellow 240 - 221

On Exchange orange 250- 231

all are less than 10% over Co Store price. Oh so you can't get a Satin Black G-10 or an LE. Neither can a lot of people.

I'll pass now.

Add shipping to the Busse prices and there is a pretty thin dime between the two ..... most of the exchange prices include shipping. Not bad at all - really! :thumbup:

Himmmmmm - I do need another hole in my head....:D

Sorry T-III my Co Store prices do including shipping. I should have been more clear. The knife stuck in Idaho doesn't you you much good.

I think he was talking about shipping from the resellers. Most of their prices include shipping. That's another few bucks to close the gap on what they cost originally.

Plenty of game wardens to be had for all. Sure, you might have to pay a little extra for your preferred handle/finish combo, but that's the way the game is played. I'd love to get me a snakeskin for the original price, but that ain't gonna happen.

Interestingly enough, I thought the LEs were the easiest to come by. It seems like there were 1/10 as many people f5ing or maybe I was just a lot faster then....
 
I actually think the game warden mania is dying down. Prices on the exchange are falling and they are actually staying for sale for awhile before they disappear. I started off wanting to complete the set but after six, it has become too much of an effort to complete. So yes, I am nothing but a danged quitter! On the other hand, my quitting the quest has made it much easier for me to EDC one of my wardens. I found the orange (thin) one makes a very nice slicer. A little stropping and it has made me very happy. Once again, lets make it official, the Game Warden mania is over, nothing to see here, please move along. (Now I might actually get my LE snakeskin, he he he)

I mean that you can't get them now. Yes when they were at the store I think they were up for a long time.

I don't know if that is true or not. It seems that a few people really did buy a batch of them to see if they could make a buck. And then priced them to make a good 20-30% within weeks and now the knives are sitting there. These are the later ones say from Orange to Muddy.

Oh, and I'm not saying anything about right and wrong just that it is happening.

I now feel that I may need to apologize again... Seems my one instance of overbuying has caused a new shift in the fight against fairly priced Wardens... I bought quite a few from the Exchange, and really never like the markup, but ate **** quietly because I was late to the 'party'. ...But these were from threads where maybe 1-5 items were listed AND hardly MORE thn ONE of each type... Lately there have been few listings that almost mimic the BCS in inventory per item. No wonder the price is dropping for Wardens on the Exchange... It's flooded! However fairly marked up Wardens ARE still selling. :)
Ah, I'm just rambling on, sorry!!
But... If this type of marketing IS a direct result of my purchase of those 27 Skelly's then...

I DO HUMBLY APOLOGIZE TO YOU ALL AGAIN... MY Bad. :( Extreme profit taking was NEVER my intention.

Well... Sometimes when you even inadvertently set a negative example, it's still there... and negative. After seeing some things recently I now can see how my purchase may have looked to others who saw it as bad. I can ALMOST see the argument for limits... And I never thought I'd print THIS admission ever. Ah well, the best I can do is try to remain fair, sell a few slide a few... Buy lighter... And hope that I can set a better example through actions instead of words. :thumbup:

The only thing you did wrong was get the MS LE before me. And you can just send it to me with the #27 as a peace offering and all will be good again.
