Got home from work a little before dark one evening last week and decided that I should bag up the leaves I'd raked up and haul them to the woods before they killed the grass. I'd just got a Leatherman sheath for the Game Warden (black/double cut) so I strapped it on and began to bag. After about three or four trips, I was tired and sweaty and there were a few green braches that I was tired of dodging, so out came the GW. At first I tried chopping, which wasn't that effective, then I did the "hold and cut" which worked fairly well considering how green and springy the branches were. I haven't cleaned her up yet, guess I should. Great little blade, just wish I could find a semi-serrated SMOG reasonable, I think the serrations would have worked wonders. I usually have at least a 6" blade when doing yardwork, but I was in a hurry and wasn't expecting to need a bigger blade. The GW did the job and because of the coating, I'm not really worried about rust. More GW's for the store guys, get to grinding:D

I am currently using by black/black Heavy Duty and loving it. I want to pull out one of my Game Wardens and am leaning towards using my red G10. Especially after that extremely disturbing thread that I just read about putting a swedge on one. I too am hoping it was photoshop. it makes me want to use it before something bad could happen to it. Glad you like it, now if only they would make that slightly bigger one.

I went back and checked the GW again last night (stored in leather sheath) and no rust, just sap marks:D
