game warden LE

It the first Warden, it was Snakeskin and satin, not numbered. It does not fit the standard, but it was officially called the Warden LE, so...

Yep. It was labeled LE from the BCS and presumably from The Man.

There was a satin/tiger warden, not numbered as well, and not listed as the LE.

as stated above it dosent need a number to be a le. the 3b2, knucle aa, nuke edc, nick and just about anything in a ganza were considerd le's or limited.

That's a Game Warden LE on top.

Its the only Busse without a number that I have heard called an LE. I consider only the numbered Busse's LE's.

There are plenty of Busse's limited in supply, but that doesn't make them an LE.

But if Jerry said the snake/satin GW is an LE it is. Since the blade is so small, Jerry may have felt there was no room for numbers. I don't think numbers would have looked good on the small GW.

Are they numbered under the scales? I vaguely recall reading that that there was at least one model that was advertised as being produced in limited numbers that was numbered under the scales, but not on the blade.

I'm with Ken on this. Jerry says LE ... I say LE.

I'm looking at a "few" right now.:)

I'm with you OP! If Jerry says it is, it is.

The GW LE is my most used every day carry knife, especially at work. Being the thinnest GW, it slices great, slips in your pocket in its sheath. I wouldn't want a small EDC any thicker than about .150. Anything fatter in the GW would sit in my drawer. Perfect EDC IMHO.

I believe the SS Warden LE, Orange Warden, SMOG Warden, and the Satin/Green Linen Warden were all the thin .140 wardens, perhaps the Black Tie too. While I occasionally carry my LE or GL, I prefer the .170 Satin/Tigerhide Warden as a good compromise between the thin .140 and the thicker .20s, .22s, or even the Fat .270s.
