Were there any GWs with paper micarta made?

I love the black paper micarta I've seen on ADs, but I live in a 3" length limit state...

Not as of yet, and I don't think we'll be seeing too many more GW's. AFAIK, there aren't any custom shop GW's with paper either.

Now I know... I have an URBAN WARDEN. RARGH!!

Hmmm... I better stock up on those GWs... sigh!

Time to go find a canvas or linen micarta one and polish it up.

The Black Tie Warden is a sweet little piece. I was inadvertantly sent one by someone selling me a Muddy Skeleton Warden. Should have kept the BT. It's a real thin blade, great for slicing. And the black G-10 looks great with the satin blade. Pick one up if you can find one.
 
I'll definitely keep an eye out for those Black Tie Wardens. Thank you!

I have some pretty caustic sweat though -- been known to rust beadblasted 154CM covered with TufCloth in a day of summer carry, so... uncoated INFI is probably not the best idea for an EDC.

Hey I found this while looking for pics of paper micarta. Which I ordered my MUK in. Is this for real? Only 1 of 7?!

I have one of these and have seen a few around. Did they make more after this old post? Only 7 is ridiculous.

There were 2 GW's released with red G-10...the .140" thin satin version, and the Flame Warden, that was a D/C finished .170" thick blade with satin "flames".

The rumor was that there were only 7 .140" thick satin/red G-10 GW's...but I highly suspect this to be false. While there probably aren't many more than that, I believe 7 is not right...I mean, c'mon...I have 3, myself! :) If you, jackman2, have one, and Lycosa has one...that's already 5 mentioned right here. :) Whether or not this is true or false, it's one of my favorites from the GW series. :thumbup:
